Are you in sixth through twelfth grade? Are you looking for a place to connect to other youth? Do you want to be forever changed by Jesus? Do you want to strengthen your Faith, learn the tools to lead a Christian life, and obtain a passion and confidence to tell others about Jesus? Do any of these scare you? If so, then step into Cornerstone Youth on Wednesday Nights between 6:30 and 8:30 pm at OBC in the Upper Room (second floor of the big yellow building, big room at the end of hall at the top of the stairs).
From there you can get plugged into
a weekly deeper study of Christ
mission projects in the community and beyond
fun (sometimes messy) events to bring youth closer together
road trips to summer camps, concerts, conferences, and retreats
a relationship with others to help you experience Christian Community and grow in Christ
Our prayer and focus is that the Lord will move mountains with youth within the community and beyond (Matthew 17:20-21). Your mountain may be long-held grudge or a desire to start a Christian group at school. It could be a problem in your life that you’re tired of or it could be an amazing opportunity that you’re not sure how to accomplish. It could be the fear of starting in middle school or graduating from high school and stepping into the adult world. We want you to get plugged into God through an honest relationship with Jesus so that you can see how He can move those mountains in amazing ways you never imagined.
