Shane Becton, Minister of Students

The Becton's are the most recent addition to the OBC staff joining us in September of 2009. Shane and his family arrived to the Eastern Shore from North Carolina. Shane and his wife Holly have been married for 14 years and have two daughters: Avreigh 8 and Kennidee 3.

"Over the past 15 years I have had the privilege and pleasure of sharing Christ with students. God has given me a passion for teens and I love seeing Him transform lives and seeing students grow in their faith. I want students to realize God loves them, He wants to have a personal relationship with them, and He wants to use them to make a difference on their school campuses and their community. Students on the shore are valuable to God and to the student ministries at Onancock Baptist Church."
